DM12 Series Disc Mower cutting knives

The DM12 Series Disc Mower's helical-shaped cutting knives ensure clean cutting, even in dense crops. For safe operation, knives are secured with heavy-duty, heat-treated steel bolts.

DM12 Series compensating spring

The compensating spring on the Frontier DM12 Series Disc Mower keeps the cutterbar level with the ground when mowing rolling terrain and ditches. The spring tension is adjusted by changing the mainframe height with the tractor's three-point lift. A safety mechanism allows the unit to swing backward to reduce impact should an obstacle be struck.

DM12 Series cutterbar

The low-profile design of the cutterbar on the Frontier DM12 Series Disc Mower provides even crop cut. The oval discs efficiently remove the cut material and give maximum knife overlap for a clean, even cut. Disc guards made of heat-treated steel protect the discs. Skid shoes protect the cutterbar from abrasive field conditions.

DM12 Series Disc Mower steel guards

The Frontier DM12 Series Disc Mower's heat-treated steel guards protect the discs from striking low-lying objects. The skid shoes help shield the cutterbar from abrasive surface-level material.

Oval-shaped discs on Frontier DM12 Series

Inside each disc of the DM12 Series Disc Mower is a state-of-the-art disc pinion shaft. The shaft bearings are positioned in respect to the blade line of force for balanced operation and longer bearing life. The oval shape of the disc ensures maximum knife overlap, and the ribbed profile allows material to flow cleanly and efficiently through the mower.
